Thanks for your interest in supporting me as a candidate for GRPS School Board!

HI! I’m Kim Baron. I am the parent of three current and former GRPS students. In addition to my role as a parent, I am a registered nurse, a public health professional, a former GRPS leader, an activist, and a process driven leader.

As a board trustee, I will be dedicated to a culture of excellence where students and families can expect high quality academics and extracurriculars, responsive leaders, and safe schools. This is not too much to ask! I will be committed to making GRPS a district we are proud of!

As a public health nurse and the former GRPS School Health Services Director, I am a believer in the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child Framework (WSCC). This framework centers students and highlights the importance of the school and community in creating a healthy and thriving school environment. I dream of a district where employees feel valued, parents’ voices are welcomed, students are included in decision-making, and district leaders are held to the highest leadership standards. Our students and staff deserve all of this!
